Do

Clean your lenses daily, they only take a moment to wipe when you put them on.

Blow off any dirt, dust and/or sand before you clean your glasses, there is a risk that the dirt will scratch the surface of your lenses.

Microfiber cloth or other soft cloth is recommended when it's time to clean your lenses. If you don't have a microfiber cloth, you can use the pouch that your wooden glasses came in. All Wear Walters sunglasses come with both a cloth and a pouch.

Hot water & soap on your lenses and also on the frames. This is the best way to clean sunglasses. Gently rub your lenses under running water.

Use a soft brush, such as a toothbrush, to clean the nose pads and edges. Important is to not brush the lenses when you get close them, you don't want to scratch the lenses. You can also use mild soap and water on your frames.

Don'ts

DO NOT use paper towels or the like, no matter how soft they feel. The truth is that they are quite rough, with abrasive fibers and lint, which are likely to scratch your lenses.

DO NOT clean lenses on your pants or other clothing. Same principle as above, paper towels etc. Clothes are not suitable cleaning accessories and can cause scratches.

DO NOT use alcohol wipes to clean your sunglasses. Any solvents in these will damage your frames and can affect delicate lens coatings.

Prevention is often the best trick when it comes to keeping your sunglasses in good condition. There are many steps you can take to ensure that your sunglasses don't get scratched or damaged. Remember that "scratch resistant" does not mean "scratch proof"

Always store your sunglasses in the bag when not in use. This is to avoid unnecessary scratches on the lens. Should you store your sunglasses with something else? Then we recommend that you use the case that is included for extra protection.
